Synopsis: The story is exceedingly thin, as are the characters but they’re no less compelling. Despite the turmoil, the script makes sense by connecting the many threads. The Beekeeper is as ridiculous. This is in no way a criticism of the movie. Instead, because everything is so absurd, it’s actually pretty amusing. It’s hilarious how Clay approaches a group of FBI officers as if nothing were wrong, and how they stare at him indifferently before realizing he’s their target. Moments like this are endlessly hilarious, however it might be helpful to watch it with people who are as amused by the pranks as I was.
