Synopsis: The movie “Longlegs” opens with a brief cold open. A small child discovers something odd outside her home. There’s a vehicle parked in the driveway. The driver is nowhere to be seen by her. A man shouts, “Cuckoo!” from a distance, and the sound of his voice echoes throughout the set and theater. He engages the small girl in a one-sided game of hide-and-seek. And he shows up after she takes a few steps. The audience can instantly see the man, identified solely by his lower lip, going by the name Longlegs, even though we only see his pallid face.
