This makes it feel as though it is torn between two worlds because of its peculiar fusion of juvenile humor and adult sensibility. On the one hand, young children could find it a little too edgy. However, grownups seeking something more solid will not be satisfied because it is not nearly mature enough. If you’re in the correct frame of mind for its unique brand of absurdity, the film manages to be strangely entertaining despite its strange tone and budget production values.
