Synopsis: Aemond is using his influence as the regent prince in King’s Landing. He removes his mother from his small council and chooses his shrewd but devoted grandfather, Otto Hightower, over Lord Larys Strong for the hand position. He then dispatches Ser Criston, the man who is aware that he attempted to kill King Aegon, his brother. Heading out with his uncle Ser Gwayne Hightower, he sets out to drive Daemon out of the fiercely disputed Riverlands. The two guys appear to still be covered in ash from their earlier run-in with a hostile dragon. This time, too, Aemond is being evasive about whether or not he will take off to keep them safe.
