Synopsis: The presence of a second world located far beneath the surface of our planet has recently come to light. The Monarch group is aware that Godzilla exists to keep other giant monsters away from humans. Kong now resides in that Hollow Earth, where he daily looks in vain for other people who share his type. However, a signal that pops out of nowhere later on turns out to be a warning of something significant that is approaching. The story that follows is very straightforward: Godzilla is getting ready for what looks to be a big confrontation on Earth. Jia, Ilene, and a few other people journey to Hollow Earth in an attempt to identify the source of the enigmatic signal.
