Synopsis: Zach Braff plays Gordon Kinski in the movie, and Evelyne Brochu plays Sophie Tremblay. The two are a long-dating couple from New York. She works as a cook at an undefined success restaurant and he teaches English to middle school students. Gordon’s intentions to pop the question are derailed when Sophie is given the chance to interview for a sous chef job at a three-star restaurant in her hometown of Quebec which also happens to be owned by her former partner, Ruby. Even though Braff may not be to everyone’s taste, he makes a charming leading man in this romantic film.
