Synopsis: Similar to the computer game, the film centers on a night security officer hired to watch over Freddy Fazbear’s, an abandoned pizzeria that closed in the 1980s after many kids vanished. The movie stars Josh Hutcherson as Mike, a teenage heartthrob who reluctantly accepts the role because he needs to show that he can provide for his younger sister Abby or else he runs the risk of losing her in a custody dispute with his ungrateful aunt. It’s an odd, uninteresting subplot with virtually little resolution. They had a younger brother who was abducted when he was young, and beyond a few fleeting encounters, we never get a sense of the bond between these two.
