Synopsis: The main character in “Brats” is McCarthy, who serves as the expedition commander heading back to the crime scene. His intention is to get in touch with Brat Pack members. The original plan for Blum’s 1985 New York Magazine article was to feature Estevez. However, it evolved into a critique and study of friendship for a generation of struggling actors.
