Synopsis: The beginning of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is ungainly as Burton presents his characters as though they were pieces of a board game. However, as time goes on, the parts begin to resemble Delores’ face and figure in many ways. The film is mostly just a lighthearted parody of “Beetlejuice,” or fan service. It doesn’t really provide the monster-kitsch thrill that the first movie did. Both poor and good fan service exist, though. Even though it can occasionally be stiff and gimmicky, I like “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” The main plot is a little complicated and has too many characters and subplots.
